The 7th chapter in the Aterral saga sees the label's mastermind Carlo hook up with kindred spirit Baloo, Saudi Arabia's advocate of groove and real keeping believer in all things House. The showcased material on this EP is the result of a mutual session in Carlo's Berlin studio from the end of 2020 and it's a manifest of two dedicated devotees to the genre being on the same page. Things kick off with "Graduate", an irresistible finger snapping feelgood tune with a Dub flavour, riding on a thick and funky bassline, dispersing into echo every now and then. And then there is "If You Want", an emotionally charged and dreamy tune by nature. But not yet dreamy enough for the two, as it seems. So they added an even more laid-back variant to their deep and soulful take on Filterhouse.
