Rikky Disco are an eccentric Swedish disco consisting of Chris Tall and Fanacy. Based in Stockholm, Rikky Disco's music is influenced by disco legends like Donna Summer, Cerrone, The Jones Girls, First Choice and of course ABBA. Together, they make modern orchestral disco songs; fusing cutting edge Nu-Disco sounds with a touch of the 70's glamour. Chris Tall is a producer & keyboardist, with a great interest in orchestral compositions. His skill as a writer is evident in L.O.V.E. (Love Is Basic) with his beautiful string arrangements, vibrant piano and bouncy bass. Vocalist Fanacy is an originally trained in classical singing, and later ventured towards DJing and production, experienced in writing hit melodies for jazz, pop and disco. Her vocals shine on both tracks, particularly the dance floor gem Love Life. Smooth and sultry to get you in the mood for evening antics. Love Life is given a top quality remix by The Disco Express artist, Hotmood. His new arrangement really brings out the finest qualities in the track. Just listen to that saxophone drop!! The Mexican producer adds latin percussion and throbbing bass to give the track a bump and shuffle; perfect for late night discos. The Stockholm duo also run their own disco Studio 54 themed club night called “Klubb Rikky Disco” at different venues in Sweden (Berns, Biblioteket, Debaser).
