These Terms explain how Soundbubble works and what you agree to when using the platform.
By creating an account or using Soundbubble, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who We Are
Soundbubble is operated by WITH BALANCE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office in the United Kingdom with the company number 15915968.
When we say "Soundbubble", "we", "us" or "our", we're referring to this company.
2. Who Can Use Soundbubble
You must be at least 16 years old to use Soundbubble.
If you're creating an account on behalf of a label or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
3. Your Account
You're responsible for:
- Keeping your login details secure
- Making sure your account information is accurate
- All activity that happens under your account
If your account is used in a way that breaches these Terms, we may suspend or close it.
4. Your Content
You keep full ownership of the music, artwork and content you upload.
By uploading content to Soundbubble, you give us permission to host, store and display it so the platform can function properly.
If you make content public, it will be visible to others. If you mark it as private, it will remain private unless you share it.
You must only upload content that you own or have the legal right to use.
If content infringes someone else's rights or breaches these Terms, we may remove it.
5. Selling Music & Payments
Soundbubble allows artists and labels to sell music directly to fans using Stripe Connect.
By using payment features:
- Payments are processed by Stripe under their own terms.
- You're responsible for any taxes, VAT or reporting requirements that apply to you.
- Soundbubble may deduct platform fees according to your plan.
We're not responsible for payment disputes or chargebacks, though we'll try to support where possible.
6. Subscriptions & Fees
Some features require a paid plan.
By subscribing:
- Fees are billed on a recurring basis.
- You can cancel at any time.
- Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
If we change pricing, we'll give reasonable notice.
7. Using Mailouts Responsibly
If you use Soundbubble's email tools:
- You are the data controller of your subscriber list.
- You're responsible for ensuring you have lawful permission to contact your subscribers.
- Every marketing email must include an unsubscribe option.
- You must not upload bought, scraped or third-party lists without proper consent.
- You must comply with applicable data protection and anti-spam laws.
To protect the wider community and email deliverability, we may monitor bounce and complaint rates. If an account risks harming the platform's reputation, we may limit or suspend email sending.
We're building long-term infrastructure for independent artists — responsible sending protects everyone.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Soundbubble to:
- Infringe copyright or intellectual property
- Send spam or misleading communications
- Distribute malware or harmful content
- Harass, threaten or abuse others
- Engage in illegal activity
If necessary to protect the platform or its users, we may remove content or suspend accounts.
9. Platform Changes & Availability
We work to keep Soundbubble reliable and stable.
However, we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, improve or occasionally modify parts of the platform as it evolves.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Soundbubble.
- Our total liability relating to your use of the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Ending Your Use
You can stop using Soundbubble at any time.
We may suspend or close accounts if:
- These Terms are breached
- Email tools are misused
- Activity creates legal or reputational risk for the platform
Any outstanding obligations remain in place even after termination.
12. Privacy
Your use of Soundbubble is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Subscriber Privacy Policy.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we'll provide notice.
Continuing to use Soundbubble after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
